The oldest of three children, Dr. Hossain moved to the U.S. with his parents at the age of ten. His exposure to a diverse and wide population started early as he lived in several different countries before moving to the U.S., and then attended grade school in Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Kentucky as his father trained and worked as an emergency room physician. Having both parents as physicians dedicated to serving others, Dr. Hossain was inspired to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist while his sisters attended medical school and specialized in ophthalmology and child & adolescent psychiatry.
After finishing high school, Dr. Hossain set his sights on nationally ranked Vanderbilt University and earned his degree in Economics with a strong interest in sciences and astronomy. His dental training then took him to the largest dental school in the U.S., New York University, located in the heart of Manhattan and visited by 350,000 patients annually. There, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and spent time outside clinic hours in the departments of dental cosmetics, emergency, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, orthodontics, and periodontics to supplement his training in general dentistry. While having the opportunity to live in many different places over the years, he chose to settle in Atlanta because of his love for SEC football, the Falcons, the Hawks, and the diversity that the city has to offer.
Dr. Hossain attends countless hours of seminars and courses to stay up-to-date with new advancements and technologies in his field. His primary focus is conservative dentistry, minimizing patient anxiety and discomfort, and spending time with each patient to answer their questions. He is a standing member of various civic and volunteer organizations. He has a passion for sharing knowledge and in the future plans to teach and lecture. He enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry including implants, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
When Dr. Hossain is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids (including a set of twins), biking, cooking, fishing, car and home projects, catching an occasional movie, or trying a new restaurant. He also enjoys racing on a closed track with his modified track car as well as traveling with family.
